* Slideshow mode added, now you can sit and watch your holiday pictures.

* Small fixes.

* Now you can configure how many seconds should spend betwen every image is showed when slideshow mode is enabled (Through eyeControl module).

* The user is also able to configure id eyePictures should go fullscreen when slideshow is enabled Through eyeControl module).

There's no need to modify system files, now they're included into the eyepackage.

I know, eyeOS 1.x is buggy, i've noticed developers about some bug in toolbar.eyecode. They should fix it soon. If you're using a Production svn copy or a 1.8 one i can send you the fixed toolbar.eyecode. For eyeOS stable version it also fails to work properly.

Let me know if you're interested in the fix.

 eyeOS_1.8 BaseWidjets.js buggy

by pauperis on: Aug 20 2009

Here is the latest BaseWidgets.js fixed for eyeOS 1.8 rev.6457. Without it addevent is not working for widget icon so nothing happens when you place the mouse over a folder or image. Replacing this file will let eyePictures show information belonging to images and folders.

Just put into your_eyeOS_directory/eyeOS/extern/libs/eyeWidgets/

Attention: This BaseWidgets.js file breaks the Contextmenu of the folder and file icons!

Yes, that's a known bug as BaseWidgets.js is very buggy. Widget icon should be rewritten as is full of bugs.

I will upload another eyepackage without BaseWidgets inside as no one is going to fix widget icon.

Pau, you're totally right with your opinion about the eyeos widgets, but we cannot chnage it right now.

I don't like to see applications, which change system files. Please use rawjs and runjs to work around this problem directly in your application.

Lars

Hi, it's no my opinion that's what it is. I saw pressItem method which doesn't work, so i fixed it, then i also saw addevent which also doesn't work (for icon widget). What i expect is developers to fix them.

I dont like to see applications... ???? Do you think people like to fix system files while they're are developing something for free? Best you can do is thank me for fixing the files or just fix them yourself. So just open your mind man, my application is not modifying the system, your system is broken and it would be great to fix these kind of bugs. Whys are there 2 methods which doesn't work? i didn't improve nothing neither modify it, i just fixed... that's a bit different...

You just can spend the time you need to understand it....

PD:Anyway you can remove what's broken i will stop using what doesn't exists, if you leave it there i will make use of them.

Pau, you knew the reason for that problem, now I know it too^^

Please remove the changes BaseWidgets.js file and use a changed Icon.eyecode file instead. It's totally backwards compatible to fix it there ;) !

Please contact me via mail@lars-sh.de , so I can send you the changed file. Or get it from the third preview of 1.8.7.0.

Regards,
Lars
